Usually Thomas is the one who takes the pics because he has a nice camera, but he wasn't there

I share some of the blame in not documenting, also my complete lack of competency with recording videos

Replacing the sad washer tank today. Got an aftermarket one off Amazon for $53.

8531504060 has the low fluid sensor hole. 4050 doesn't. No pump or sensor included, fine with me. There was nothing wrong with the stock stuff.
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ML6X57M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_SbgICbCV1TTGR

Not sure of the material but it says HDPE and has a 2 in the recycling symbol. Feels like a thicker milk carton.

The stock strainer does fit. Cap is able to close over it.

Using RTV grey on all the grommets. Washer fluid pump seems tight enough to be water tight, however the low fluid sensor was too loose - so both mating surfaces get RTV there. Tried to use the stock grommet, but it was too tight and the sensor wanted to pop out, that wasn't going to work. Letting that cure before I put the filler neck in. Both surfaces will get RTV there too. Not taking any chances.

Done. Going to fill up and check for leaks tomorrow, then reinstall the black shield thing.

thanks man. I said it would be my last mod. With the exception of a rear bumper. But that won't be for a while now haha

I think I'm good with 33s for a while haha. It's funny because the 2nd gen guys have to fit 35s to get the same ground clearance as the 1st gens. I think I'll be able to keep up with most of the group once I've got the crawlbox installed.

It's a very dark deep rabbit hole to keep up...this truck was only supposed to be a summer beater on 33’s ;)
