How do I not buy those for $695 shipped?

Edit... I bought them. Looks like I’ll officially be joining the 33” club. And I guess that solves the tire dilemma. Now I just need to order new wheel spacers. Then, once everything arrives, I can install my new top plate spacers to level my lift, add the SPC uppers and hopefully get the new tires mounted and an alignment all in the same day.

    Do seat covers count?
Just be like me and run over something on the hwy and destroy a tire. I used it as an excuse to upgrade to 265/75/16 Cooper St Maxx

Just ordered the wider wheel spacers. Now I’m gonna have to pick a day to take off work and go to town on the truck. Anyone have any tips or care to lend a hand with the SPC uppers? Also, I don’t have a spring compressor so I’m a bit worried about how I’m going to swap the top plate spacers. I bought the longer studs for the thicker spacer but from what I’m reading, the shock assembly needs to come out and be disassembled to install the new, thicker spacer, at least on the driver’s side. I might be able to slide the 1/4” spacer into the passenger side without taking as many things apart since it can reuse the OEM studs.

What Matt said. You'll have to bend some metal out of the way for the UCA bolts to come out completely. Battery removal may be needed for driver side also.

No spring compressor method is where its at. loosen the LCA bolts just a little so they can swing down. Also dont tighten the LCA cams until the truck is back on the ground.

Hmm, that’s a shit ton easier than I thought. You think I’d be able to swap the top plate spacers after loosening the lower control arm and removing that top nut, then letting the spring and strut assembly slowly fall? Obviously, I’d have to remove the three nuts on the top plate studs but will I have enough room to get in there at that point?

Yes. Eventually there will be no pressure from spring and you can leave the top mount just bolted in place if the spacer is to go on top of spring.

Perfect. This won’t be hard at all. Now I just need to find a jack that can actually get the front of the truck off the ground...

If you have real skids, just put the jack on the front skid. Centered, obviously, just past where it gets flat under the engine. 4x4 wood blocks are your friend too!

I’ve got the TRD skid plate on the front. Don’t know if I’d want to jack on that thing... I guess I could always remove it though. And hmm, I like that $60 jack. Might need to snatch one of those.

You probably need to take skids off to get to LCA bolts anyway.

And they are only $45 currently...get two!

You will still need your standard floor jack to lower the spindle down slowly so you dont kill yourself with a spring FYI. So have one of those regardless.

It won’t let me change the quantity to 2...

And oh yeah, I’ve got a floor jack I can use for the spindle. It just might require a block of wood to get up that high.

And it’s been a long time since I worked on a car/truck by myself. Been too busy with the kids and the divorce to even attempt anything...

Then their location only has one in stock. Might try another store if you can.

Looks like each location near me has one in stock. I reserved one but I guess I could make two stops.

Yeah, don't do that lol. Use the 'tit' looking thing as the jack point then. My 885s are pretty stiff so I only get a few inches of droop taking the truck up in the air, don't remember that stock coil life.

I’m on 885s as well. And I know exactly what jack point you’re referring to. It’s just beyond the back of the skid plate.
