I started scheming like "well I could just build a spacer to weld to the frame, and mount the stock bumps on that" but then told myself to stop being a cheap fuck and buy the daystars. They're gonna be perfect for what I need.

Thank you sir! So far love the suspension. After getting my alignment in spec and making some adjustments it actually rides MUCH better then stock. Also going to remove my sway bar tomorrow as I’ve heard this significantly improves the suspension response and overall feel even for daily driving.

Here’s a more current picture after a few weeks of the suspension settling.

Looks amazing. Just installed the same setup on my 2nd gen, a 3rd Gen Long Bed would probably be my next truck if I had to upgrade. You left the stock UCA's?

This will probably be my next move after the 885's settle a little more. Wish I saw your posts ahead of time I would have went that route from the start. Any clue if stock UCA's would handle the .75" and .5" on top of the 885's? I have a strange feeling that upgraded UCA's would be recommended.

    Thank you!

Yes, I left the stock control arms in; from what I read around the forum it seems everyone agreed that it's recommended to replace them if you go over 3".

    Anytime!

But yeah that's what I've read a few times now. I had some issues with alignment due to my lower control arm bolts being seized but the UCA's allowed for 0 degree camber and toe which was definitely important.

Do you have a link for the 0.5 inch polyurethane spacer you used? And you used the Wheelers 2 inch top hat bolts, no trouble with it being stacked on the 1/4” spacer?

Yup! So I used a wheelers 1/4” on top of the wheelers 1/2” spacers stacked together for the drivers side front only. It’s cutrenty installed and having longer top mount bolts for the coilovers are DEF required but it does fit. I called wheelers before I ordered the 1/2” spacer and they assured me the two would suffice for the drivers side and fit with the extended top bolts but I did encounter that it was quite tight for one of the bolts. I was almost unable to thread the nut onto one of the bolt threads due to the short amount of threads showing but I got it done. Drives fantastic, is NOT a spacer lift but rather just moved the whole coilover assembly down just a hair. Doesn’t preload the shock or the coil at all. Here is a pic of the drivers side in reference. You can see that I actually somewhat stripped one of the top mount bolts so I had to grab another one from Home Depot.
