Hey guys. First post on here, and like most people's first posts, I HAVE A QUESTION!!!!

    Sorry, not that exciting...

Anyways. As you can probably tell from the title, I am wondering if I can run an 18x12 (-44 offset) wheel and a 33x12.50 tire on a 3 inch lift. I have a 2011 ACSB 4x4. PLEASE NOTE: I don't mind plastic trimming. However, I don't want to hack the living shit out of my truck. I also don't think buying a 3 inch suspension lift and stacking a 2.25 block on top is a good idea, but hey, I could be wrong. Should I just bite the bullet and go with a 6 inch lift?

The reason I ask this is because I've seen trucks run a 20x12 on a three inch lift and an 18x12 on a 6 inch lift. So that made me consider doing a 3 inch with 18s.

(And before you trolls come along, yes I've done plenty of searching, and as far as I can tell no one has this setup.)

    Thanks to all who read/respond/both!

(As for the pictures below, or in the post, hell if I know. The lifted one is on 18x12s and 33s with a 6 inch. The other one is my stock truck)

Lol no bullshit thats my truck lol and tbh i would go with the 6" lift cause your going to rub on your cab mounts. People do it though.

lol holy shit I forgot about this post. Even have a different truck than the one in the picture. I kinda figured that about the cab mounts so I decided against this route. I'm stock height with 255/75/17's and stock TRD Sport 17's. Have a 3 inch lift ordered and I'm keeping this wheel/tire setup. Anyway, here's the new truck and what she looks like now:

My 98 has 4 in.beefed blocks, QA1 up front, turbo. My 15 4x4 stock looking for lift and tires.
OK so I want to re live this post if y'all don't mind. Im also considering going this route. I want to go wider I could care less about getting higher I'm wanting a wider foot print. I've done the Head Strong Offroad 3 inch lift with Billies and OME887 coils and new upper control arms. I'm currently running 285/70/17's and they look alright but I want something thats going to stick out a little further. My current rims are pro comp 17x9's and even though they look good I really want wider. considering either 18x12's or 20x12's. I've herd that going with 20's that they are heavy and bring in that disadvantage.

So Will 18x12's clear with minimum trimming. If I must do the cab mount chop thats fine I got a guy who will do it right with minimum cost. Please if anyone can add any info on the topic it would be greatly appreciated pics would be awesome as well.

@hmasonb34 your going to have to get the cab mounts chopped no way around it without at least 6 ". Thats what im running in the pics of my truck.

Do you feel the 6 inch lift to be needed or in your opinion would it clear with a 3 inch after the cab mount chop?

18x12 will be pretty wide on a 33x12.50 ... unless your going for that look I have 8" wheels.
