I have mandatory flu shot every year and have to stay up to date on all other immunizations. All free through work.

I just kick her. She stops snoring and doesn’t remember a thing

Finally made it in to work, albeit 2-1/2 hours late. (So fire me) First thing that slowed me down was at 3PM yesterday on my way home. I was a witness to a wreck. A semi crossed through the median and hit 2 cars head on. Fortunately, it was slowed enough by the time it hit the cars that no one was seriously hurt. By the time I went to bed (Around 8:30PM) I was running that scene over and over in my mind. So...Didn't go to sleep until almost 2AM. Alarm goes off at 4AM... I slept right through that. My wife could sleep through the USC marching band playing inside the bedroom. She didn't wake up... So I was about an hour late leaving the house. Then I hit traffic stopped for trees blocking the road, and traffic lights not working as a result of the storm we had. Almost 80 MPH wind gust's....Tornados just west and north of us. We just got straight line winds. After 16 months of record rain fall, trees are rooted in mud...which means they blow over easily. We have a couple huge oaks down on the road into work. Now that I'm here, thinking about going back home....to get some sleep.

On a brighter note, I FEEL better (so far) today than I have for a couple weeks. Knowing that getting up every day and going to work no matter how I feel is just about over seems to be a major stress relief.

Now that it's daylight, gonna go tour the property and see how much wind damage we actually got.

    Oh...BTW, :hattip::wave:

I can’t believe this tire didn’t blow with the spring stuck in the side of it.

:pccoffee: Good morning. Cold. Snowed again last night.

Not a fan but should slow down the flooding all around here. Can get 100 sandbags from the County and fill them for free. More than 100 they ask that you call ahead. Thought about bagging the garage door that is letting water under it but sure as shit as soon as I did would have to get the snowblower out and use it. Ordered a garage door threshold from Amazon instead and will put it down tomorrow when it gets here.

50's maybe even close to 60 next week they claim. Wonder if my home AC will work.

    Morning all

Kid called me last night from work at 2100

Said he couldn't turn the steering wheel.

Drove down and he hadn't even open the hood.
    Serpentine belt came off.
Belt tensioner is 1 inch from the wheel well, you have to take off the tire and use an access hole to get to it.

    Yeah, no.

Told him to tow it to the local shop in the morning.

Bet he waits for me to do it.

Another reason not to post everything you do on Facebook.
My niece and her husband were on vacation in Chicago. They were posting pictures on Facebook the whole time. When got back to Kansas they found their house was broke into. Pretty much cleaned out.
How did I find out? My wife just saw it on Facebook and called me.
    Facebook is the Devil

their customer service is good but hte parts are crap. lots of the internals are plastic and wear out super fast. get used to calling and asking for parts or get a different brand - gonna cost a few more bucks but you'll be trouble free for years

my aunt once flipped off a school bus driver, driver got her plate # and the city mailed her a ticket. we call it her golden finger.
