    Hi Y'all,


    Let me start off by saying I don't have a Tacoma yet but am looking for one in the very near future for my ranch. I have 3 super duties and quite frankly, they are too noisy for the ranch when trying to do pest control. I am looking for the classic tacoma from the late 90's I believe it is. I'd like to know the ins and outs of these trucks, what their strenghts/weaknesses are. When I do get it, I'd like recommendations on shocks, bumpers, lights, protection, etc. My neighbor had one with 250k miles on it and never seemed to have a problem with it but he also never used it off road much.

    Welcome. I love the Pre Tacoma trucks 89-95 single cab 4 cylinder 2.4 22RE 5 speed manual. I had a 92 bought it new for 14000 and drove it for 15 years. If I had not totaled it I would still be driving it today. I like my 15 but would still like to find me another one like I had. Let us know what you end up getting. Latter man.
