Predator birds must be pissy mean.
    Here's an owl one.
Me and a buddy were hunting one afternoon and we split up in the woods agreeing to meet back after dark. Shortly after I arrived at the meeting spot my buddy shows up panting and shaking and all out of breath. I said wtf happened to you. He said when he was walking out (packing a treestand) he heard wings flapping and something knocked the shit out of his back. He reached around and tried to grab it and it started trying to flog him in the head. He said he wrestled around with it for awhile and it wouldn't let go. He finally fell down and rolled around on the ground trying to get it off of him. It finally let go and flew off. He never saw it because it was dark but we figured it was an owl.

We were driving backroads once and saw a snow goose walking around with a broken wing. There were 2 bald eagles circling above it. I told my buddy we were going to leave and drive back 15 minutes later. When we came back, the eagles were gone and it looked like someone had dumped a feather pillow in the field.

I was sitting in a stand one afternoon and it was dead calm and the ground was covered in crunchy leaves. I looked down and there was a bobcat directly under me in full blown stalk mode. I'm wonderin how in the hell that cat got 2 feet from my tree w/o me hearing it. Then I thought, hell thats what he does for a living. There was a squirrel a few yards away and he was putting the ninja stalk on it. When he got 4-5 feet from the squirrel, he pounced. And missed. The squirrel ran up a tree and the cat rolled onto his back, licked his front paws and walked off.

Was driving down the 10 freeway at 2 - 3 in the morning, no radio stations to be had. I am kinda drifting off a little bit. When out of nowhere this giant thing that looks kinda like a owl smacks the windshield of this 90's Ford Taurus rental car. Wing span covered the entire windshield with a owl face in the center. My best guess is I hit the largest desert owl In the California Arizona area. I was very awake after that.
