    LOL WHY?

Coagulated pigs blood, like brown tofu cubes. Thought it was just a different kind of tofu. Took a while for me to understand that "brud" meant "blood".

Agreed. I was at a bar once with pickled eggs in a jar on the counter, had never seen them before. Asked the bartender what they were and she told me 'pickled eggs' and I wanted to vomit at the thought of an egg being pickled. She asked if I wanted one, I said hell no. She then said 'I bet that if I give you one of these for free you're going to want to buy another', and I guess I was curious enough to try it at that point so I did...and they are fucking amazing.

If you like pickles then you'll love pickled eggs, my mouth is watering just thinking of them lol. I need to leave work and go find that bar

Sometimes if i finish a jar of pickles pr jalapenos i will boil some eggs, peel and leave in the pickle juice for 2 or 3 weeks. Almost as good as an actual pickling.

That's a good idea, gonna have to try that...I haven't had a pickled egg in a long time and now I'm hungry. Although if I think about the other shit I've read in this thread then I lose my appetite.

yep, thats what I do. You can also add some dried/fresh jalapeno or habanero and get some spicy added to it ;) It will however clear a room when you fart later...

Anybody here would literally eat anything if you had gone without any food for 3 days -- This is true -experienced this myself when going thru survival school back in the military. Trouble was there ain't much of anything to eat in NE Washington state in early April, and some instructor is pushing you through the wilderness/forest at about 5- 10 miles a day over extremely rough terrain. I lost 15-20 lbs in 4 1/2 days

Killed a wild hog one fall at deer camp. Was a sow that still had a little milk in her tits. Somehow while was skinning this pig, i got dared to suck some of the milk out of her tits. Well thats gross, so i didnt do it. But i squeezed some milk out of em and into a empty Pabst can and drank a little. Wasnt that great.

Been to Japan about 75 times working for Toyota. I have eaten many strange items there. Probably raw fish intestines ranks right up there at the top. Small bowl full. It looked like a bowl of anemic fishing worms.

    Raw horse

Grilled sparrow on a stick, with all organs intact

    Balut egg

And yes, alcohol was almost always involved.

I'm sure someone already said Rocky Mountain Oysters. Bull testicles. I can't think of anything more odd than that I've eaten.
