Start small. Just hike in the snow. Then add more gear as you go. Crampons are usually optional. Hiking poles, gaiters, thicker thermals, and a lot of information. Friends that know and like it can help a lot.

Nice. I bet you had a lot of fun.

I have micro spikes and heavy base layers. Ive hiked the High Sierra trail to Bear Paw and Hamilton a couple of years ago in the snow and it was fun, but navigation got a little difficult of some locations.

My error. You do know enough. Good.

My 1st snow camp was after a winter camping seminar at REI, San Dimas, many years (decades) ago. He said to park near snow, walk a hundred feet or so, set up camp and try. If you have trouble, the car, and warm heater, is right there. I did that, up on the road near Wrightwood (A campground there, closed in winter?) until I was comfortable going further. The snow makes everything so quiet, no bugs, and more places to put a tent than without snow. Guys I worked with at a DoD contractor thought I was nuts to 'Camp in the snow' on purpose.

Ended up ordering the Phantom Flame 15. Checks all the boxes for what I was looking for. Net cost $0 between dividend and used up a couple hundred of my CC cash rewards that have just been sitting there for a year or so. Still have enough left for a new pew pew too.

That bacon still looks raw though... You could cook it more like he showed but you still had the raw pork in the eggs. Probably safe, but I would still use caution especially at altitude where cooking temps change a good bit.

Also, not sure how paper bags are made but I’d imagine some solid chemicals are used. Would hate to taste them, but maybe you don’t...

2Toyotas I'm diggin the new "yacht club"
    Does it recline?
If not you may still want to check out the Kelty Deluxe Lounge Chair. You can recline it to look at stars. Great chairs.

Size 11 foot for reference. Definitely takes some work to get the air out and compressed but not a whole lot bigger than my 35 when compressed20190315_204703.jpg

Looks great but I haven't seen a paper bag in years. They used to ask...paper or plastic? No longer an option I guess.

Welcome, there was another inch or two of compression left. I'd imagine as the fill naturally compresses over time it will get a bit easier but it's actually the same size compression sack as my 35 degree which is rather impressive in itself. The 35 degree is way thinner fill wise and it's not close.
