Having 5100/887 and HS AAL installed next week and debating whether or not I should have them install the 3* shims at the same time, or wait. Thoughts?

I’d wait. Shims could fix an issue or cause another. Typically you want to add driveline adjustments to fix a problem.

I’m sure it will be ok if you add them but some people have increased vibes from them. You’ll have to play with it a bit.

Right on. I think I'm going to have them install the longer "shim bolt" with the ALL, and that way I can just slide it in myself if I need it.

Just had 8112/8100 with Icon RXT leaf packs installed with no shims. Had the truck to 82 no vibrations, wait till after and see.

How much lift do you have dialed in with the 8112? Nice BTW!

A little over 2 in the front and a little less than 2 in the rear. With stock wheels and tire.

No take off shudder at all? I just put in Icon RXT and still working on getting the vibrations under control.

None that I nor my passengers have noticed. I did install a wheeler u bolt flip kit that I put on at the same time as the lift.
