Youd be surprised how many "new" vehicles get damaged in transport and end up going to the body shop before being sold as new.

Obviously that one is too far gone. But new vehicles get repaired after transportation damage more often than you would think.

 

In NC, dealers don’t have to disclose damages if less than 25% of the vehicle value.

What a joy to hear that as I am signing paperwork on a new truck. “Don’t worry, your truck is fine...”

Only unscrupulous dealers will sell an "in-transit" damaged vehicle as new factory delivered undamaged. I almost bought one once as new many years ago, before the newest computer intelligence. If the dealer does not advertise the fact, that is lawsuit city! In the video looks like the driver was trying to tidy up the mess...or someone was stealing parts!
