Foglight kit installation help

I bought the kit below for my 18 SR

Using some of the forums on here, I determined that my turn signal/headlight stalk was pre-wired.
I attached the red/positive to the battery terminal.
Attached the black/ground to the ground post next to the battery.
I connected this section to the extension cable and passed that through the firewall.
I connected this to the internal section, connecting black/ground to the airbag ground post, and the green connector into the included switch.
It’s the leftover red wire that I’m unsure of.
Neither the switch or the dashboard icon ever light up.
The headlight stalk has 4 positions Off/DRL/Foglight icon/Headlights so I assume it’s ready to go.

You'll find that your items are little far from getting it the same.

 

Red wire from switch harness goes tap into a IGN fused source.
