"110% clean body..four doors with the half doors in back" ..so not a 4 door:rofl:
$ no price..? Hmmm maybe blue book?:spending:
    Truck looks clean though. ..
Buyers should always have vehicles checked by trusted independent mechanic.
Sellers say all sorts of things...
But once this baby is checked out...it seems like at a good price it'd be a great truck.

The guy selling it is a trusted mechanic, he’s done plenty of my work when I needed it. Yeah he may have worded the doors wrong but big deal.

Sounds like describing an ACCESS CAB, which most certainly has FOUR DOORS. Might be that some of the <=2004 models had 3 door options, but EVERY 2005+ will either be 2-door (regular cab) or 4-door (access or double cab).

There aren't. Head gasket problems are rare. The 5 people who had head gasket problems flipped out and blamed defective design when they found out that some aspect of the mating surface or gasket had been revised in a newer year. There is NO special problem with 2005 with respect to head gaskets failing at an unusually high rate.

2005 from PA is either going to have a brand new frame, which alone is worth more than $9900, or it will be absolutely worthless, since the extended frame warranty is expired and its close to breaking in two.

And the rest have the original head gasket design Toyota replaced mid 2006 MY run.

My 2005 Access Cab just blew its head gasket in December at 150k miles. Out the door at $3250 for head gasket, water pump, timing belt. Wasn't fun....

I hope you do get lucky! I can't really complain too much about it though. Owned it for 8 years, put 85k miles on it and it only needed regular maintenance plus 1 radio antenna. Can't say that for any other vehicle I've owned. New Tacos are too expensive and too fancy! I'm sticking with it til at least the next $3000 fix.

did they have to machine your heads? cause I feel like that would make or break it on deciding to fix it or do a complete swap for me

Yup, they had to resurface the cylinder heads.
