Have you ever thought about a good ol pop up camper? They aren’t near as cold as you’d think and seem like they’d be much more comfortable.

Well i own a 2016 Runaway Cool Camp and Love it. Yes it is a bit tight ( 4 X 8 ) but we Purchased it for 3200.00 with Awnings and screen room. And the owners of Runaway are AAA. They treat every owner like they are important and customer service is best I have seen. They pull behind a 4 cyl like its not even there. We park most of the time in tent spaces so cheap. You can go on the internet and find out all about the runaway family and get help from any one of them.

Oh yes I have! I have spent a few night in different models and I would agree! I just find it interesting that these little campers are built near me. I did a search and didn't see them mentioned on here, so I thought I would let people know about other options out there.

Interesting you post Forest River, because I just came across them this week when I find a E12RK at a real reasonable price that came on my radar by accident.

Yea sorry, I kinda didn’t read the thread before I posted.

I really enjoy my pop up, spent over a month straight in it last spring.

This is a random question but I take it you fit two people in your trailer? I was going to build a 4x8 but am wondering if there will be enough room for my wife and I. Neither of us are especially big people but it seems like it will be close.

Check out Taxa Outdoors in texas. They have a vey intereesting line of smaller campers. The smallest is a camping off road trailer. The next size up is the Tiger Moth which is the one we have. We were looking at teardrops but the design of this one alows sitting room inside then the bench slides out and the whole interior becomes a full size bed. I have done quite a few extensive mods so ours is not stock.

    This was stock

We just got our WeeRoll and I'm blown away by the build quality, all aluminum construction, weight 1550 lbs. I'm in process of outfitting it now for a trip next month. Info on this special build can be found here:
