Dear all, I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-road w/6’ bed. I just bought a 2019 Honda Rancher 4x4. The ATV has 7” front tires and still has @2” to spare when placing it between the wheel wells in the bed. My son has an identical Rancher with 10” front tires and they are too wide to fit between the wells. Does anyone know how big of a front tire I can install and still have it fit between the wells? I’m fairly certain 8” will fit but what about 8.5” or 9”? Your help is greatly appciated.

I have an ‘18 rubicon with 8 inch tires. It squeezes in there, but I don’t think 9 inch would. 8.5 would I’m sure, but are you going with a wider wheel or sticking with stockers? Would like to know as I’ll probably upgrade this summer as I can’t leave anything stock.

I just drive mine over the wheel wells. It’s a 350 tho. I have no idea what size tires it has. If it fits thru the tail gate, it’ll go in the back. Giverrrr.

My sons Rancher is too long to drive over the wheel wells without coming down into the rear window when used with 27x10r14 front tires. We tried it slow with several people and ended up having to wrestle it to keep it from hitting glass. There are several 26x8r14 front tires to choose from where I can use 10”-11” rear tires. I found one 28x8.5r14 mud tire (EFX Motohawk)but that particular brand would require all 4 tires to be the same size and I’m not sure they would fit the ATV without a lift. It looks like 8” wide front tires are it if I don’t want to use a trailer.
