Definitely, weighs maybe 65 lbs. The winch weighs more!

I have an aluminum also and it’s light weight. Better on your front end

Who’d you get your aluminum bumper with? That’s the goal, keep weight down, and hopefully not have to different lift springs.

Put some time in on the boat. I almost have the boat all back together. Made a new battery cable and terminated some wires.

SOS Offroad Aluminum bumper install. Put the Smittybuilt 9500 XRC on, haven’t spoiled the line it yet. I measured before / after fenders. Lost about 1/8” of lift (sitting on Blistien 5100/ OME 884s).

I’m trying to figure how to get it to tilt some, I have gaps on the side. Otherwise I’m very happy.

Thanks. Totally am stoked!!! Had the bumper powder coated at a local shop that does a lot of for boats. I picked out a smooth surfaces semi gloss, really am happy with their work and price wasn’t bad either.

    Thank you!

Great choice. That's what I went with also (smooth coat semi gloss.

The textured stuff looks awesome and tough, but seems to trap dirt more.

Yeah not really interested in textured powdercoat for that reason.

Now I need to get my boat back together!

Boat is progressing. Installed a jack plate.

Jack plate caused some issues. With the motor all the way down I can’t turn to the right.
    00477791-B6EC-414E-99EF-0F72D756B2AB.jpg

So. Cutting a hole in the glass is defiantly a no go. I don’t want to add another plate to shift the motor back another 4” like most boats do because of the same issue. So. Friend and I talked with his father and he suggested relocating the steering. We got a new Yamaha steer tube and chopped up my aluminum crash zone off my truck to relocate the steer tube.

Drilled a grommet hole cause the steering line was rubbing bad and rerouted wires through same.

Slowly it’s getting there. Few more days work and I should have it back on the water.
