Supposedly yes it will be able to if you buy an extra harness as well along with it. But the cost will be quite spendy I'm sure for an OEM head unit (well over $1k I'm sure).

Idk mine plays the new Dream Theater album plenty loud and plenty clear. Never had an issue. Now if you're talking live sound or PA systems, there are far better ways to spend your money than JBL or Bose. But that's a different thread...

good to hear man. many here complained about the jbl setup. I was one of the first runs for the 16's
and tried to get it but it came without and after seeing so many complain I was glad I did. Ended
up swapping the speakers with some nice JL-Audio, putting in kicker tweeters and added a full
cab length ported sub box with a big JL-Audio sub along with a alpine amp...sound is great!

You buy a truck, or a thumper? :headbang:

I actually started with a '16 SR, those do come with run of the mill talk show speakers, and none in the back. Upgraded after a clown hit me and took the front end off ..

truck since 98'! I just keep adding to it, wifes given up on it ever changing after
    19 yrs. together.

Almost.....went to an 18 Pro just for the cement color and other features but after
thinking about the cost to trade, refinance and do the mods over again I thought better
of it and socked away the cash for a year and paid this one off....first time in 30 yrs. not
having a car payment, I used to trade em in after like 15 months when something new
    and shiny came along. :D

Of course, lol. I get the feeling this is one of those things that I care about one week and forget about the next. I think the most I ever spent on a car stereo was $150 so there's 0% chance I'm going to blow 10x that on anything. I got along fine for years with a 1U display that looked like an alarm clock. Just having Bluetooth is a huge step up.

I wish the nav was integrated with my phone, but then again it's kind of nice to have the maps downloaded and available 24/7. There's been a couple times when I'm on Forest Service roads, 20 minutes from cell phone coverage, and I'm not sure what road I'm on-- nav's been awesome for a quick reference, saved me from having to break out the DeLorme atlas and figure out where I was on the map. If I lived in more populous areas of the country it would be pretty irrelevant I suppose, but the west is still pretty rugged in spots.

Anyhow, I keep the nav map running on my home screen and it's occasionally helpful even for around town driving, again as a quick reference.

I also set up some a "home" bookmark in the voice assist helper so I can just hop in at some trailhead and have it navigate me back to my house.

There's a decent amount of options / features that I hadn't bothered setting up until recently, though I've had it for almost 9 months now....

I've noticed the more popular off road parks, like Windrock and Turkey Bay have the trails actually on Google maps, and they show up on the Toyota maps as well. Haven't taken it to Moab yet, that's next year.
