Same with my shop, but it does happen and the only way to make sure is to mark the tires.

I like it when customers ask to see or understand what I've done.

I was surprised mine took that long. I told them to check the tranny as it has weird shifting and Entune acts up now and then ( shutting down randomly).
I could see the truck on lift up and down couple times and could hear air tools, conversation ( damn this truck is clean).
I also told them use torque wrench on the lug nuts.

One thing I do not see in Toyota service bays are young kids. They all look 30 something.

Oh yeah, I understand its not massive service and on a lift should be quick, i wasn't trying to be a jerk with the list either . Im just kind of blown away by not even rotating the tires hahaha!

I worked at a carwash in high-school that had an attached quick-lube place. For any car that came through the wash after an oil change, we had to pop the hood and show the driver that we changed the oil and that it was at the correct level. We'd get in trouble if we didn't and it was so easy to do.

On *several* occasions I found loose oil filler caps and on one occasion a dangerously low amount of oil in the vehicle. It wasn't some shitty lube shop either. They were generally pretty diligent and cared about their jobs, but mistakes get made when you are tag-teaming a car and you think the other tech took care of something and they didn't.

It seems to be common practice for the lower techs at some dealers.

The time doesn’t matter. The question is did you receive the benefit of your bargain...the performance contract between the owner of the vehicle and Toyota or did the dealer perpetrate a fraud by not performing the services required by contract and then sending the bill to Toyota for reimbursement. If you signed it then they get paid.

Aren't you glad it wasn't an oil change that never happened? Then you would be going another 10,000 miles on that oil & filter!!!

Most of the time I like working on my own stuff. I did my own rotation this weekend (5 wheels) & plan to do my own oil when I hit 10,000.

My dealership is pretty good i think but when it comes down to it people don't care about other peoples stuff anymore & it's my truck

Find another dealer, How can they make it right they ask, wow. They would have lost my trust.
