I am swapping out my grille on my sr5 for the pro grille. I don't ever see myself using radar cruise control (I don't like the idea of a computer deciding my speed, especially at a high rate.) Old school cruise works just fine for me.

If I put the pro grille on the truck, take the sensor off and don't reinstall, will I still have normal cruise via holding the cruise button?

Any issues not having the sensor might cause?

If I put the pro grille in, will rain/dirt, road grime block the sensor? If so, can I put a piece of black plastic in front of it

If you hate dash lights as much as the next guy, just get the mesh and keep everything installed.

I've seen the insert but hate the shiny look of it compared with the grille.

Dash lights are meh, especially if I know their cause.
