    Honestly
I have a Winchester, so that alone makes it superior to the Marlin.....

    Jk
Have nothing against either, just clowning.

That is a beautiful hunk of steel right there!

If I am not mistaken you can get an Un-fluted cylinder through the custom shop

I load my own. With powder coated, cast lead bullets I can load them for around 10¢ each. Shoot pretty good to. For factory ammo, sorry can't help you, haven't bought any factory ammo (except for .22) in years.

I've got a 642 I carry in a pocket holster. Its lightweight and almost like not carrying a gun since it's on the smaller side. It stings to shoot with 38+p bullets. I'd imagine an air weight 357 would hurt to shoot

Can confirm. I’ve got an older stainless 686 and the single action is phenomenal.

I have a Ruger LCR which is a mainly polymer revolver in .38 special. It PUNCHES you in the hand. Not terrible but I don’t really like shooting mine. I can’t imagine what .357 magnum would feel like.

I had the Taurus Poly Protector in 357 mag and that was not comfortable to shoot by any stretch of the imagination. It was also rated for the +p 38 special..

I dont recommend.. Plus with that one inch barrel I couldnt hit a damn thing with it and im not a bad shot (certainly not great either)

I shoot alot of 38 too. For practice I buy anything as long as it's not aluminum. I've shot my sw mod 66 with aluminum shells and had I guess? the ones I already shot swelled up and popped out of the cylinder did that with them twice. I'm not sure what happened except that the cylinder locked up with it still loaded and I had to pry the shells back into the cylinder with my pocket knife. Never happened with brass
