king 153 rear shocks on a 1st gen

    Greetings...

    I usually post over on the 1st gen board, but I've hit a bump while getting King 153 shocks plus Deaver J59 leaf springs installed on my truck... I'm posting this question here in case there's folks here who don't read the 1st gen board regularly...

    My installer notched my frame and cut off one of the exhaust hangers in get my passenger side 153 shock top mount to fit:

    If there's anyone here who has 153 shocks on a 1st gen, I sure would appreciate seeing a picture of their top mount on the passenger side from a similar perspective as my picture. And any other info about your install that might be helpful...
