    This is Cheryl,

My name is Kyle and Cheryl is my first Tacoma. Purchased March 2017 with 26 miles on her. 2017 TRD OR, Tow package, Weather mats, and sills. I wasn't planning on doing a thread but I decided I have learned a lot from the community. Maybe someone out there will give me suggestions, or look at my bull shit and learn something.

    Basic build motivation: access truck

    Stuff I Bought:
-CBI T3 Rear Bumper with Swing Arm, table, jerry can
-CBI bolt-on rock sliders with kick out
-OME Bp-51 Kit with Dakar Leaf
    -Method Race Wheels NV (16x8 / 6x5.5")
-Wrangler Dura Trac 10 Ply LT285/75R16
-Leer topper 100RCC w/ front slider, Windorr sliders both sides, tube light

    Stuff I Built
    -Sled Deck

    Sled Deck

    This was a process.

When I upgraded my rear bumper due to a fender bender I got the tire swing without knowing I was buying a sled. In order to avoid a trailer I had to build this up and over it. Might sell it and redesign to build a telescoping ramp underneath it.

As of 1/28/2019 I haven't finished my wiring for lights etc. Will post more pics when I do. Also will try and remember the nice camera for a picture with sled up.

What did you make the deck out of and do you have an approximate weight on it?? And roughly how much did it cost? I'm wanting to do the same thing for my 2nd gen

@4x4Jake I built it out of steel and then ac plywood for the actual deck....I haven't weighed it yet, but I have a feeling it's between 400-500lbs. I have been meaning to swing by a scale and check because I did weigh my truck prior to install. Cost wise...it's hard to tell. I had some scrap steel around from other projects. Roughly 800 give or take....but you could do it cheaper. The expensive part was the headache rack and the plywood.
