Yeah that was a fun one. Got metal in my eye Sunday but didn't realize it. Thought I sunburned my eye with a welder. Cue 2 days of painful suffering, so I go into the optometrist. Get the metal out, and use a drill to clean up the rust that had formed.

Yep, exactly. None of it hurt during the actual procedure. But later that day, lord help me. Doc told me it was gonna suck too. The hydrocodone didn’t do anything for me, or so it seemed.

I was stupid for a while, PayPal credit, Amazon, and discount tire direct all do 0% financing. I loaded em up pretty good, but never went past a term so I never got knocked. I also make a good amount extra if I work weekends so I was just home a little less.

I do a combination of things. It starts with saving. (I did start with credit, and it sucked) what i did find is that if you build a need/want list .(you learn your needs as you use your rig so most will be wants.)

If you have a savings fund its a lot harder to just spend it. I do savings only now.

However if you have savings and a list and you watch BF sales, ebay, craigslist, and have friends that like to addp/upgrade You can find lower cost and even lightly used great stuff for really good prices.

For example, i read a lot and found a post about a free light bar in exchange for an honest review. So i did it, took a little time but i learned a bit when i did it too.
I picked up a set of 5 used tires (4kish miles) for a great deal. The list goes on.

I also do the installs myself when ever i can. If i don't now how i ask friends that do know. (Pizza, beer, and good conversation goes a long way).

In short it takes time and dicipline for me. I have kids and both my wife and i work, we all like to camp and go offroad. I dont always have the best stuff, but it works. Kids will go off to college soon so that eats into my budget some.
