Custom center caps

So, I'm back in a Tacoma, I bought a completely stock '09. As I age the lift height and tire size modifications decrease, but still like it to stand out a little. Here is a subtle mod I did to aftermarket center caps that I thought others might like:

When looking for rims, I liked the older TRD style, but wanted a little more width, ended up with KMC XD series pictured below, but to make it look like a TRD wheel I changed the center cap. The pics tell the story, but basically the KMC caps bolt on, the TRD caps snap in...so I had to modify the (genuine Toyota) caps and cut small grooves on the ID of the wheel.

Contemplating changing the color of the bead lock to silver....maybe??

 

This is sharp, I really don't like the center cap on my KMC Terras and want something a little more low-key. Might have to try this, right now I'm just running no caps.

 

oh man those are my wheels, like the 228 machete or something cant remember and I've been thinking about trying to mod something else to fit. don't mind the center cap but hate the stupid chrome look of the lettering!

though someone told me you can remove the bead lock protector but i don't have the 13mm thin wall socket, or a 13mm thin enough on the walls.
