2012 Tacoma rear spring problems

    2012 Tacoma 4x4
    Anyone having problems with the 2012 Tacoma rear springs. Both of mine broke just ahead of the rear axle just like my 2009. Toyota replace the 2009 springs and is presently replacing the frame on that same truck. The 2012 is not covered by the spring recall like the 2009 even though the breaks are exactly the same.

    I think as a general rule, factory Toyota leaf springs suck. Yours look pretty rusty which may have sped up the failure. You can pickup some take off springs pretty cheap usually. Or you can buy a higher quality leaf pack from Deavers, Dakar or others...
