Your truck is a 2016 (according to your profile)?
If they fixed it in later model years (not sure what it would take to fix it), they have effectively acknowledged it as a known problem. Might use that against them.

 

They issued a tsb and superseding part, but for the gasket issue. This is a different but also common problem.

 

I had a few on hand so I snapped a pic. this is where I think the failure point is. Just the slightest overtorque and they are toast
