Yeah I've got the adapter tube, but it's doesn't have the shim for the billet arms(if you need that) and I don't have the extra parts to press it out and back in while on the truck. I was pulling my Total Chaos arms to replace the bushings anyway so I just used a BFH on some wood blocks.

Sounds like @TMFF is my go to. My friend has the billet Icon UCAs and we plan to press out the old uniball crap and probably insert the upgraded delta joints.

Anybody ridden Devils backbone? I'm pretty much a beginner and was thinking about heading there tomorrow but don't want to get in over my head.

Assuming you’re talking mountain bikes? If so, I’ve ridden it a lot. The first part is just easy single track, then you head up a decent climb. As you get into it, it gets more technical rock wise. You can ride the loop either way, but I suggest you veer right and ride it counter clockwise. If you ride it this way you have a decent rocky climb coming back out. I used to ride mucho and didn’t find it difficult, but it will challenge a beginner. With the natural placement of rocks, it’s can also be hard to get into a rhythm and maintain momentum. Good little trail that is nice for a quick out and back.

Side note: mountain bikes aren’t allowed at the actual backbone, only foot traffic.

Side note 2: Another decent ride that’s a bit easier is Coyote Ridge. Big zigzag climb to start, then a rock staircase coming down into the valley that a beginner should walk their bike down. Single track through the valley, another mild climb and some rock gardens you can play around on toward the back of the loop. You can link Devil’s Backbone and Coyote Ridge together via Blue Ridge for a longer day of riding.

I too am confused when people say "ride" when they actually mean "drive my truck". But I do think that nkg meant MTB with this post as I think I remember him expressing interest in buying my mountain bike (still pending getting a new one).

Can’t off-road Devil’s Backbone, could be fun though. You’d be amazed, however, at the janky ass bikes I’ve seen people try to ride out there because it has an under estimated trail rating IMO.

@nkg just go ride it and have fun! It’s challeging in spots, but easy, flowy single track in others. Ride what you can, walk what you can’t.

I can supply the DJ's and install them in the arms with them off the truck. Even then it's a pita with billet arms and lining it all up with the shim.

The amount of Ford raptors I see in Bozeman/ big sky is insane! Wouldn’t mind one as a daily driver.

Good to know. I still go after work sometimes. I'm surprised I haven't seen any signs for it, but I park way on the back side so that's probably why.
