Specifically, what temp ranges would you suggest as “approaching too hot” and “too hot”?

I realize there is much more too this question, but what I’m looking to do is set ranges on a fusion display.

Also, is there a way to monitor engine oil pressure?

I thought it would be a little higher than that. It tends to get into the 230 range when going down hill...

    Could be sensor location??

Generally speaking, 220-250 is considered 'normal' for conventional oil. Synthetics can go over 300, but most auto manufacturers shoot for the conventional 'safe' range. Anything less than 195-212 will allow condensation buildup, and anything over 275 starts breaking the (conventional) oil down.
