Yeah...after thinking about it a bit more a 4 cyl regular cab is one thing...but, say, a v6 double cab TRD with 11k miles is another entirely, which is more what I'd expect out of a $24,000 1st gen

 

I think around this time finding a 1st gen with ~70k miles is more ideal than finding one with 11k miles, simply due to the fact that vehicles are meant to be driven and there's a lot of things that can present problems with one that just sits and collects dust for years on end.

Oh definitely. I remember that post of some guy who found a 2004 Double Cab PreRunner with 34 (THIRTY FOUR) original miles. That whole truck is probably totaled just from the rotten seals and stuff.

I want the car. The plastic is still on the floor. The paints immaculate and the original tires are still on it. It literally left the dealer to sit and do nothing. He started it up every few weeks to let it idle and changed the oil every 6 months. But never drove it lol

 

If Toyota did another run of 1st gens at modern prices would you people buy?

I love that hotel. My family has stayed there every time we go to Vegas since they opened. First time we stayed there we got a free upgrade to a Sky Suite. Breathtaking room and views. Private entrance too.

We found out on the way to the airport in the taxi that it came with a free limo ride we totally didn’t take advantage of.

Guess it was a marketing ploy because we kept coming back hoping they’d give us a suite again.

 

First mexican-asian visitor upgrade? Jk

 

Mine was the PO's "take the kayaks to the lake" truck. Only 46k in 13 years. Has scrapes on the back of the camper where he would slide the boats up on top.
