3" lift with Bilstein 5100s, OME coils, and an AAL package... so far.
Wanting to know what are good shocks to replace my OEM Bilstein shocks with, and are also affordable?

I heard Kings were good, but I'm also looking for shocks that I won't really need to replace for a good 5 years.

I guess that's a good point... I'd like to keep the total cost for all 4, front and rear, below 4k? Maybe? Haha.

For longevity, OME nitros, I've seen more than a enough run 50-80k before needing any attention. For cost, either stock 4600 or the longer 5100s.

Without giving an idea of price range your just going to get blasted with people sharing their brand bias.

Change for the sake of change or are you looking to lift?

I'd just run the stock billies until they're done.

just keep the ones you already have unless they are leaking, not spending any money on unnecessary things is most affordable

Your choice should really come down to the use of the truck. Kings are awesome but are you off-roading?

Rebuildable shocks will last the life of the truck for the most part as long as you take the time to have them rebuilt. I have mine rebuilt every 30k-50k which for me is about every 3-5 years.

Check out the suspension forum and build forum and see what others are running.

Unless you want the bling factor, cut your budget in half and get a set up from Dobinsons or OME. I decided to go with Dobinsons due to the high ratings from the other platforms they build suspensions for. I’d love to have Kings or a tricked out Fox setup, but my truck spends most of its time driving me to work and all the wheeling I do is below 20mph.

Right?!?! There will always be someone with more disposable income than me, so I do my thing and let others do theirs.

The birds at Applebee's can spot Kings from a mile away.

I guess not. Is 4k really budget friendly? Serious question.
