That's one thing I never understood, why reimpliment that? It's an outdated practice

The series in London and Japan are a joke. It's like the NFL going to London and Mexico. They aren't going to put teams there. Logistically, it's brutal, and a waste of time. Anyone, anywhere, can watch a game on the tube. The Leagues seem to feel they always have to have a gimmick, and they don't. What they should be trying to do is make it easier for kids to go to games. That's your fan base. Going to be tough to do with 4oo million dollar contracts.

Oh well. I still love the game. Best game ever.

Except for the Designated Hitter. Fuck the DH.

I like the apperence policy. I like the clean cut business approach of the Yankees. If they didn’t have it we wouldn’t have the Thurman Munson or Goose Gasage mustaches.
I remember when Nick Swisher tried that went to bat with the top unbuttoned came out to right field with it buttoned lol.

I think he set the Yankees record last year for the worst batting avg. ever with a miniumum of at bats

one of my favorite NYY games last year was his afternoon walkoff against the Twins before heading to CA

    https://www.mlb.com/yankees/video/extended-cut-sanchez-walks-off/c-1979213083?tid=236216262

plus he should finally get his chance to start the allstar game since salvi perez is injured

The Sanchez Astros 9th inning homerun of Giles that made him punch himself after was my favorite moment. I think he is the best pure hitter on the team I hope he breaks out of it this year. It will also be good to get production out of 1st Base this year. Huge fan of Luke Voit over Greg Bird

it seems that Chapman is wearing down, had a lot of trouble closing games last year, also upset that Sonny Goad Gray couldn't get the job done, I liked him :( hope he does better with the Reds

a few hours (give or take) until first pitch here with the Royals and AAA club (50yr anniversary exhibition)
at least the weather this year is cooperating ... cloudy out and a bit nippy but should be good to go
standing room only so perhaps I can catch it on some TV channel, maybe the MLB channel will have it

    ....

well the Royals were unable to beat their AAA
guess they are headed for another 100 loss season :(

good grief I feel aged when I heard this on the news this morning

    MLB enters new era
NO players left that played in the last century (I have not fact checked this with all the fake news out there very difficult)
