I was going to ask about that. Should I buy K&N instead?

Don't buy any of them, go to your local store and buy a bottle of snake oil.

What’s the latest news on factory tuned 2GR-TKS with standard transmission? Is it ok? Obvious discrepancy with 3.5l hp for Camry versus Tacoma. Same motor in both; right? Will I need to go to tuner after I purchase to get engine running right? Looking at ordering new 2019 Tacoma.

They arent either one good for performance gains or MPG gains. But they look cool, sound cool, and have reusable filter. So if thats what youre after then you're good.

Does anybody know how the snorkel works. Can you take it off when you don’t need it? Maybe the better question is would you ever want to take it off?

I'm sure you can take it off if you want but there's gonna be a big hole in the fender
