A couple weeks ago I purchased a @mesojdm gasshole like many people on this site have. When I purchased it, I wasnt really thinking about the fact that I had a locking gas cap because I figured it wouldn't make a difference. 20190324_142737.jpg
Turns out I was wrong, the locking one on the left has an extra thread that doesn't allow it to seat far enough into the part20190324_142749.jpg

So I got out my trusty dremel and decided to try an make it work20190324_143124.jpg
After about five minutes I was able to take the whole bottom thread down to flush with the rest of the cap20190324_143243.jpg
And final result is- fits in gasshole perfectly and still has plenty of threads to thread in just fine20190324_143349.jpg

I’m going to say most probably go with Stant

Stant also makes an excellent top quality stainless steel thermostat under the name Stant Superstat. I personally have used it on different vehicles, it maintains its rated temperature settings which allows the engine to operate in the correct temperature range improving fuel mileage and lowering emissions.
