    I just got a 2019 Trd access cab 4x4. I would like to tow a Casita trailer and know I either need Summo springs or air bags. My question is if I went with Summo springs will they effect my suspension articulation because of the TRD model. The part number that fits is Sumo

    Recommended are the 40s. I've been running them for 35k miles , 8-10k towing a Chalet Arrowhead . I'd do it again , no doubt .
    I ran airbags on my '02 SR5 Tacoma. Really liked them too. Frankly, I prefer the Sumos.

    Thanks for the info. How much does your trailer weigh and do you have trouble see around it because of the width? I was thinking about selling the Casita and buying a Rockwood Hard sided with the off road package. My concerns are the width at 84 inches.

    I run my Chalet Arrowhead between 2200-2400lbs, tongue weight about 180lbs . Width78". I hauled this trailer all over the western with my '02, and I used mirror extenders. The '16 I don't need them Thank God.
    I'd rather discourage getting the heavier Sumos, you might really get the harsh ride you're looking to avoid . Seriously, the 40s are perfect.
    A friend had a '16 with an R-Pod trailer . HATED the towing experience so bad, he sold the truck (not the trailer , huh ...) and bought a Tundra. Thanks , I'll take my Tacoma ANYDAY over a tundra.

    my 4x4 place recommended the Superspring, had it installed on my 2012 dlcb trd, no more sag, I pull a 21 foot palomino, 3200 lb.,450 tongue wt, with equalizer hitch, , im very happy, not real harsh or clunky

    1000, I never like the nose up of the Tacoma, even after leveling, knowing that and adding the tongue weight, the shopset the superspring to give me a extra inch up in the rear, now level when towing
