I need to add a pin to an empty slot in the stock 2003 wiring harness. Stupid question, what are they called? I've been Googling "wiring harness pin" etc with no luck. I'm wiring the remote turn on for a powered sub to a Pioneer head unit through the harness I got from Crutchfield. Want to keep everything in the harness.

They are just pins. There are 1000’s of different types. The truck doesn’t have a factory amp or power antenna, so you just wire the remote output (blue/white) from the pioneer to the wire that you’re using for the turn on for the amp. No need to pin a harness. If you happened to get a direct connect harness that is made for the truck (prewired connector to connector) you can just splice into the wire.

I ended up just splicing it, bypassing the harness. I've got bigger fish to fry with this project than spending time looking for a pin. I'll just pretend it's there after I close the dash up. ;)
