    Been a long weekend... Old buddy of mine passed away this past week. Heart attack at 37 years old. Made me really start thinking about how tomorrow is never really promised.

    What’s the point of sitting and hoarding a bunch of good beer in a cellar??? Live every day like it’s your last, make sure your family and friends know you love them, and drink good beer damn it!

    Slim pickings at the private beer store today,apparently....but after a day of playing househusband/Mrs. Doubtfire, I will take it; and when my teetotaller wife buys me beer (after spending the day at yoga, dance class and some-kind-of-spa-thing) it would be unwise, foolish even, to whinge and whine.

    A Labatts' product, hoppier, fuller with a nicer colour, and a little stronger than their standard, all in all, not bad. This'll be a great hunting beer.

    And the picture on the can is kind of cool. A little less cool, perhaps, having had to explain the more colloquial 'cougar' reference to someone for whom English is a second language....:poking:
