Are those beads better than glue weights?

Imho yes for larger tires that see rough conditions. It uses centrifugal force on the inside of the tire to always have the tire balanced.

I mean if were going there my old K02's before these were the worst tire I've ever had :anonymous:

Had FS Destination AT's before them and they were much better, I just succombed to the "K02 sidewall phase.. " Got out as soon as I could afford too

I don't know brah... I'm not just a fan of the KO2, I also like the KM2 Mud Terrain. What didn't you like about the KO2?

Toyo, Good Year, and Cooper make badass tires.

That's the issue I had with Falken, and Firestone. I first thought it death wobble, but later found out that my tires sucked lmao.

My tires were cool, the problem was the balancing issues.

Yeah i dont like dealing with that stuff. I think im gonna rip all the wheel weights off mine and just pour some beads in there. Has anyone heard of using airsoft bb's? Anyone know if they break apart over time?

The biodegradable BB's will crack with the heat.

The wearing was weird, wasn't from center to the sides, was very choppy, almost like cupping, but the lugs looked deformed.

They were also shit in the rain, and for an AT wore rather quickly compared to my Destinations which had killer wear

The only downside to the beads is unsprung weight. You have to add more than what is needed to make sure they do the job. The motor has to turn the extra weight = worse mileage. I know we’re talking ounces but I think every bit counts. Everything is a compromise, light or durable, smooth ride or better mileage, looking badass or having a pocket full of cash.

A coach here at school had Mickey Thompson tires on his King Ranch, those were badass looking, not sure about the quality.

Conteract I had good results with them last time. I can’t recall the weight you may have to do some digging for your tire size.
