HID Retrofits are nice. One of my favorite investments.

 

For the first time I saw one of those convoys broken down the other day, three tacomas being pulled by a sad old 3.0 pickup. Pickup shat the bed.

 

I looked into it, it is possible but how much time and money do you want to put into it

 

There’s no way that 4Runner pulling those two cars had enough towing capacity to handle it. I think the new T4R caps around 5,000. It was pulling an SUV and a Sedan. My guess is it was around 7,000 total.

I think the 3.0 would’ve shat the bed without anything towed behind it.

 

There's all sorts of things wrong with it, I have no idea how they routinely make it down there, but clearly it isn't without risk. Something tells me whoever employs them values the pickups more than the lives of the people they send to retrieve them though.
