I am going to hope they do not plan on doing much with it, Ie have a confession in granite. Chain of custody , retrieval method and so on are screwed. Sending it off for ballistics would be a waste since it is not useable evidence.

I don't throw stuff often lol usually what I am tossing has broken and I don't throw it at anything important lol. Last thing I tossed was just recent torched one of my 4.5 inch grinders final cutting and shaping that 1.5 inch steel for Dad. The angry little pixies came out all kinds of smoke and sparks flying mad. lol Pretty sure the commutator is welded permanently to the gear box lol . I tossed it when it was still smoking into the drive way lol and did not hit the truck or the camper so :}

Most expensive temper tantrum ever;

Had a pair of ear rings I bought for wife (#1) years ago.....had em in my hand. She said something outrageous. I launched $3300....into a lake.
