    Hey ya’ll,
    I’m new to Tacomaworld but I’ve been obsessed with Toyota trucks for a long time. I’ve had two ‘83 pickups and just got the new to me Tacoma.

    Unfortunately, I got absolutely scammed by a dealership in Texas. The truck won’t pass inspections and I can’t even register it so I’m digging through this site trying to find some solutions so I can finally drive it.

    The list is long but it has a rebuilt title and whoever did the work cut a lot of corners. Check engine light turned on a mile down the road after signing papers, no horn, no cruise control, airbag light.

    I would think you have some rights on this matter. Hit up the Texas licensing bureau (who gives dealership licenses not the DMV for inspection) and make a formal complaint.

    Thanks all, yeah it’s an off-road with sport parts. I’ve reported them to the Texas Licensing Bureau and I’m sure their license will be rescinded but I’m sill kinda stuck. I’ve threatened a lawsuit and they’ve blocked my calls and when I’ve stopped by they shut the doors on me. Obviously I should have done my homework, that’s on me. At this point I’m just trying to get it fixed up.
