Back to the cat. Generally cats have to learn at a young age to climb down from height. Their claws curve inwards sharply so they cannot climb down except backwards, which most don’t learn, especially on an old pole with no branches.

I’ll leave the remaining discussion for the ailurophobes and ailurophiles.

    My lottery story.

I used to carpool with a guy that was a diehard lottery player. Everything from the scratchers to all the guess the number games. Had the numbers he’d play memorized and would spend heaps of cash every week on it. I broke his balls about it for a little over two years and his closer was always something along the lines of, “if you never play you’ll never win.”

I always went ahead of him in line as I wasn’t going to stand behind him while he did his lottery crap. One day as a joke I bought a numbers ticket and just asked for the randomly generated numbers. Couple days go by with the ticket stuffed in my sun visor forgotten about. He gets after me to check it and turns out I had enough of the numbers right to win a little cash. $27k check from the Texas lottery office in San Antonio deposited as he’s losing his mind. I played a buck and I won as he’s probably got over $15k a year into it and only hits the $20, $5, and free ticket stuff.

Never carpooled again after that week and he literally decided to hate me after. Having everyone in the shop breaking his balls about it didn’t help either. That’s the only time I’ve ever played the lottery and I’ll never do it again. It’s a bullshit pipe dream sold to suckers.

But I will jump into a charity raffle and you can ask my mates, I tend to win heaps of prizes in them. Last one I won two pair of rock sliders, a knife, entry to another event, a nice jacket, some t-shirts, and a big tire patch kit.

Have you ever seen a cat skeleton on a utility pole? Or in a tree? No, because they'll come down when they're ready.

Heck, if he's a big guy that would be his only choice. Either that or try to squeeze in there, and risk getting stuck. If I was a big guy, and that was my only choice in bathrooms, I would first go back and have another beer to build up the pressure. Then stand at the door and put some arch on it.
