    Hi All,

So I've been building my truck in my head for a few months now. It's a 2017 DCSB Off Road with a MT. What I see in my head for wheels are D window steelies painted or powdercoated Quicksand with black center caps and black lug nuts. Also, I don't like the look of the factory spare wheel. Problem is, Aftermarket steelies don't fit without a spacer, which I'm not a fan of. This brings me to my question: Can aftermarket alloy wheels be painted/powdercoated with the expectation of good results and durability of the finish?

I don't know why I'm fixted on this particular look but thats how my truck looks in my head.

Powercoat when applied properly is nearly indestructible and looks cherry so yes to your question.

Wasn't sure if it could be done to Aluminum/alloy.
