It took about 3 months for mine to come in! Kept getting delayed and was aggravated but it is a well built bumper and the directions kinda suck but overall looked at other direction and people's input to help put the bumper on! Overall very impressed with it!

looks good... from the feedback I've been given the directions/write up I did in this thread has helped out a lot of people and haven't been told anything was missing... if you have some good feedback on additional information for the write up please let me know and i'll be sure to add it into the how-to

First of all, awesome write up. I'm in the midst of putting mine on, and having these instructions is super helpful. 2 questions:

    1. Any details on a good spot on where to relocate the winch cointrol box?

    2. What are the amber fog lights you have (from the pics in the write up)? Looking for something similar.

    Thanks again!

Thanks for the compliments! I do not currently have a winch so I’m not sure where you might relocate to but here are plenty of guys on here with the same bumper and should be able to help you out. As far as the ambers go they’re bajadesign. Hope this helps you out!

I don’t but it’s the very front part of the skid that has anything going vertical. Just trim those few areas and you’ll be good to go! I got a CBi IFS so I didn’t make it pretty just paint the edge after you cut otherwise it’ll rust

So i had mine installed by a local shop. I have the full hoop. Well the driver side bumper and hoop hit my grill. I’ve taken the bumper off and reinstalled myself and still get the same fit. The passenger side is a good 1/2” to 1” clear and seems to be just moved further out in general. Everything tight and i get this fit. Has anyone else had these issues? I’m wondering if certain washers weren’t used when the shop installed or something. I don’t have original directions and don’t know what to think. It rattles my grill and is rubbing the paint and plastic off. Any more detail on each bolt and adjusting the bumper for????

These directions help to a certain extent but there is just no detail on what bolts/washers/nuts/etc are to be used where and how.

If you open up the attachment in my original post that was the step by step process and my fitment was perfect. Remember hand tight everything and make your final adjustments and then tighten down. I have yet to hear of a CBI product not fit correctly.

I’ve looked at your instructions. They are great one thing they don’t do is say what washers to use where. Maybe common sense to most that do a lot of this work. I’ve tightened from bottom bolt down and still get the same fit. My grill is in place correctly so i don’t know why the fit would be to where it rubs on the one side. I’ve loosened and tried to adjust but there isn’t much movement to fix the problem.

Can you take some pictures to possibly get a better idea? Only thing I could think of is the hoop maybe shifted during the spot welding and made it into the final production. Don’t know until we can see some pictures to help diagnose. Also try reaching out by calling CBI they’re pretty good about answering any questions

Didn't realize CBI had a T3 thread. Installed mine a few months back. Super happy with the bumper! Install took a day with help. Managed to get a small bracket fabbed up to mount the control box for the winch (Comeup 9.5rs). Mounted on the passenger side and just in front of the radiator. Unfortunately mine was shipped without the side frame support brackets - only took a few days to get the replacements, and the bumper seemed fine without the side brackets until they showed up.

I also have the same fender flares. I ordered the bumper already. Any pics with the 2" change? Trying to figure out if I also need to call them on this. TY!

Had anyone added a light bar that’s 22” outside to outside to the T3 front bumper ? That measures 22” inside to inside...

What's the steel gauge on this bumper? I haven't seen any specs on the thickness from any site including CBI

Differs if you have steel VS aluminum. I believe mines quarter inch aluminum

Thank you but I specifically need steel. I'm trying to do a thickness comparison with the bumper I currently have

Were you able to get the fitment to not rub on the grill? I’m having the same issue on the passenger side. Starting to rub paint off the grill and bumper. Only had it installed for one day
