The dealer took this off to fix something in the right front tire area. Don’t ask long story. Anyways it bugged me and finally I took it to them to find out they broke a clip that secures it snug. The ordered a new one and the paint wasn’t spot on (this color has 9 different metallic patterns) and it had a bubble and paint crack so I said forget it put my old one back on. Now both sides are like that. They are gonna repaint and try again. Some ppls are snug. Some are a little loose. I understand tolerances and it’s not gonna fall off and it doesn’t rattle. Is there someone out there who has or had this problem and fixed it themselves with an adhesive or something ? I’m will to fix it myself but I don’t want to use something that is so strong it melts the plastic.
    Ideas? Plz

I would go buy a small tube of GE clear silicone adhesive sealant from the Depot. Put a few small blobs back there. Push it tight. Wipe any that oozes out with a little alcohol or naphtha. Let it dry overnight. Done
