Howdy, Y'all!

Just joined the forum and thought I'd say hi. I'm the proud owner of an '06 tacoma that I bought new from Mountain States Toyota in Denver, CO. She's mostly in stock form (TRD offroad pakage) mainly because she has proven very capable already. My next mod will probably be a lift kit because I hit the bump stops daily with the 265/75/16's on it. I have roughly 55k on the odometer with not a single mechanical issue, yet, aside from an annoying squeaky clutch. I've only used my "start clutch cancel" feature once (on a launch ramp with a 25 ft. boat). I've been on all kinds of jeep/fire trails (some of which were quite rocky), snow, ice, and you name it.

I love this truck as it is the perfect size for my family of four and still fits nicely on some very tight trails. The 5 ft. bed length is pretty small, but with the tow package I figure I can tow whatever won't fit. It would be nice if the 6th gear were more highway friendly at 75+ mph. Overall experience with the truck is very positive, and I would recommend the Tacoma highly.
