Question, why not just put the deutsch directly on the lights? BD specifically states using any connector you want won’t void the warranty. I am jelly of all the BD love though

 

in case i swap brands in the future again lol but yea that would make things simple, whole truck is pre wired for deutsch

 

everytime i see these at the dealerships, i always think about the rig i can build from an sr5 with that much cash into it

TOM WOODS one piece double cardan shaft

tom woods delivered me my shaft in 2 days upon ordering

all they need were measurements of flage bolt spacing and distance from flange to flange face

my measurements were

face to face flange: 68"

X x X on both flange bolt patterns were 2.6 x 2.6"

oem shaft weight: 35.9// tw shaft" 38.05#

** right off the bat it feels much smoother, want to say its more responsive. My vibes from 40-44 mph on the oem shaft is gone, need to run the shaft longer to see what its all about and I havent gone past 50mph since install.

That was exactly my plan! Pick up some knifeless tape and a piece of 3M 1080 matte black vinyl from eBay. Should be cheap and easy.
