I am installing new coaxial speakers in my truck tomorrow and got to thinking about the tweeter situation. I've read you can just keep the tweeter and run coaxials, too. Is there a way to upgrade the tweeters while I have the door panels off? As in how would I wire a new set of tweeters along with after market coaxial speakers?

you can but that may be a little overkill on the high frequencies. I did the same and left the oem tweeter, which is almost non existent with a good quality speaker in the door. On a side note the doors take all of about 5min to remove, so the extra work if you decide to replace them is minimal.

i'm sure others will chime in with their opinion.
