    Aww yeah.
You gonna be doing street testing?
I hope so, you have to feel what's going on with the throttle and power delivery...

One question I cannot find any info on (a bit tough with 44k posts):

Would you be able to use this on a second Tacoma for folks that have more than one? Let's say 2 3rd gens, one AT and one MT.

Okay, thanks. I did not see it listed on their page so I assume I will need to call and ask the price separately.

I admit the manual transmission in the 3rd Gen would be perfect and much better than the AT but for the accumulator delay , oh and the rev hang . Then also the poor reverse gear ratio causing stalling and fried clutch discs backing trailers .Also the no restart after stalling , and needs to warm up in cold weather …... Other than that it would be perfect. Thank goodness you MT guys are not picky lol.
All in good fun !! :crapstorm:
Give me an old school manual everything truck with rubber floor mat ,no computers and with todays rust resisting coatings and mpg's with the reliability of the Toyotas of the past.

Very true. The ADM can be as inexpensive as a free fix or $25 for a swap in part. 2Lo is on the way! :D

None of these are true. It seems the folks who have posted about restarting weren't fully pressing the pedal. I would be a fan of an Anytime Starter Mod (ASM). I've had cars and bikes that came that way from the factory. It's one leg up on the Clutch Start Cancel button.

    Definitely on all accounts!

At least we all can swap in manual hubs now:

I just don't want to shift gears in the daily. I have a weekend racer with manual transmission :D

Thanks Ovtune. I have never seen anyone so dedicated on a tune product as you guys are. I have owned cobbs and hondata and they just put out a base map and end of that. Thanks for the hard work.

As for the rev hang problem .i had a 1976 Honda Civic that had a bad decal valve . When it went out , the rev hang was totally gone , but the result was a loud bang / misfire after each shift . My buddy had the same problem with his Datsun B210 . When using it to pull a fiberglass bass boat it was hilarious . After each shift it sounded like a shotgun blast after each shift.
I would bet this is what the rev hang is all about . Burning all the fuel in play for emissions reasons , before backing off .

I've got my complaints about the MT, but I'm much happier with it over the auto I had previously.

I'll agree, theres definitely a point where theres too much computerized shit that it gets annoying. Times were simpler back in the day.

I'd love a rubber floor instead of carpet

That would be killer. Yeah, I'm a dork like that. But then, a lot of sports cars have the pop and crackle exhausts these days. I am told that there is an injector in there for that?

The story that I have heard for rev hang is that fast lift offs on the pedal cause a surge in crankcase emissions? It seems to be a dumb fix for a problem that is a very small percentage of the time. Yeah, those times add up, but do we really need to drill down that far?

Burmapeak - are you you saying your truck gets the earlier shift and lugging on all tunes EXCEPT 1.05 87 base and stock? So for your truck you would not flash to 91 Perf, because on 87 base shifts better and lugs less? I suppose this is all non-value, when Matt works his magic on his next 'FREE' release, i bet this lugging and early shifting is fixed anyway :dancingbacon:
