Today I installed some Spyder foglights on my 13 Tacoma. Everything went well with the installation and they work great.

I did a tap into the top left ignition fuse and my foglight on and off switch stays lit when the ignition is on.

Is there a fuse to tap into where the fuse on/off switch only comes on when you turn the fogs on?

    Thanks

I am using the switch that came with the Spyder kit. A four wire plug goes into the back of it and the power is tapped into the ignition fuse.

Run the illumination wire to the 12v output wire that powers the fogs directly behind the switch. When power goes to the fogs it also powers the display lights.

Well I'm not familiar with that switch. Sorry. :(

One switch that seems to be very popular are the CH4x4 switches. They have 4 wires, 2 internal LED lights, and a single normally open contact.

Depending on how you connect their 4 wires, you can have no lights, both lights on only when the switch is on, one light always on + the other light on when the switch is on, one light on with the dashboard lights + the other light on when the switch is on.

Just looking at the Spyder directions on-line, their switch looks similar to the CH4x4 switches. The quickest thing may be to contact Spyder with your question.

    Thanks

I located my switch in the bottom right slot. Hidden by the steering wheel at night
