    Hey all,

Just got a Doug Thorley Y pipe "pipe bomb" from URD and am having trouble getting the back flange to connect with muffler for a good seal. I used a new OEM Toyota gasket and torqued to spec 35 ft lb it doesn't seem to seal and the spring and screw is tightened to where there's a slight bow or bend. Any ideas as I can see the exhaust leaking out while it's at idle.

I ended up sourcing new hardware (removed the springs) and also coating the donut with copper gasket spray. It worked well for about 10k miles before the resonators rusted out at the hanger locations.
